The Proposal of Work-Life Balance in Selected Company

The diploma thesis focuses on the issue of work-life harmonization in a selected company engaged in water sports. It specifies the topicality of its implementation to business practice, tools of work-life balance, possibilities and barriers from the perspective of employers and employees. The practical part analyses the current state of the selected company through a questionnaire survey and a semi-structured interview. On the basis of the theoretical knowledge and the obtained results, optimal measures for work-life balance are proposed, which are supplemented by a financial evaluation.

Working hours and rest periods Abstract The master's thesis deals with the topic of working hours and rest periods. These legal institutes are presented not only from the perspective of current domestic legal regulations de lege lata but also outline their historical development from the medieval period to the present, including their significant connections with both EU and international law. A significant part of the work is also dedicated to flexible forms of working hours, such as remote work, which popularity has increased in recent years, especially in the context of the global COVID-19 pandemic. At that time, this alternative method represented an ideal way to minimize the risk of disease transmission while allowing both employees and employers to continue their work activities. Given that both working hours and rest periods affect nearly every economically active individual in the labour market, the master's thesis also briefly mentions related psychological impacts that can occur in an individual's life in connection with the setting of working hours and rest periods. This Bachelor thesis deals with a topic of stress management and types of working hours. The main aim of this Bachelor thesis is to understand better how to deal with stress, which types of stress factors do we differentiate and how to predict them. Then which types of working hours exists and which ones are more important for better lifestyle. The research is based on cooperation with company, which produces a machinery for automotive and medical industry. The information obtained from the literary are the basis of an questionnaire which is created for the employees of the company. The questions of the questionnaire are mainly about how employees deal with stress connected with their job.

This work deals with issues of business trips in primary schools that are provided by municipality in relation to the law No. 365/2011 Sb., that changes law No. 262/2006 Sb., Labour code, as amended and other related laws valid since January 1st 2012 that says empoyees cannot give up on their rights in advance. Based on assumption that travel expenses that must have been paid to employees in full are huge burden on school budgets. All the travelling with pupils becomes very expensive. According to connection between theory and practical use, all activities cannot be provided only at school and it's necessary that teachers travel with children to learn away from school. This work summaries the rules for reimbursement of travel expenses and reflects the views of headmasters at issues of business trips in primary schools. Overtimes and resulting entitlements

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of overtime work and consequent entitlements for employees. It also focuses on the working hours institute in general, as the basis for determining overtime. It deals not only with the limits and conditions of overtime work, but also with overtime in different working hours regimes as well as overtime work of specific groups of employees. The aim of the thesis is to summarize the Czech legislation of the overtime institute, while evaluating the jurisprudence dealing with this issue. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter outlines the historical development not only of overtime work itself, but also of working hours as an institute directly related to overtime. In view of the Czech Republic's membership in the European Union, there can not be omitted the view of overtime work in terms of EU legislation, where Directive 2003/88 / EC is the key rule governing working hours and overtime. - Flexible forms of working hours Flexibility is hotly debated term in the recent years and not only in a relation to labour market. This diploma thesis deals with flexible forms of working hours, which represents one of the means to achieve greater flexibility of labour law as well as flexible labour market. Increased options in adjusting working hours based on the needs of the subjects of labour-law relations contributes to more efficient use of employees work, provides new possibilities for some risk groups of employees on the labour market and helps employees in achieving work- life balance. These factors also have positive influence on unemployment rate. The thesis is divided into four chapters, which are further divided into subchapters. The first chapter introduces selected legal principles with the regards to the subject of the thesis. Main focus is on subsidiary relation between civil and labour law and "what is not forbidden, is allowed" principle, which is crucial for flexible forms of working hours, followed by an overview of selected basic principles of labour-law relations and introduction of flexicurity concept. 66 Abstract - Flexible forms of working hours This diploma thesis deals with the flexible forms of working hours and its goal is to describe this issue in intelligible and comprehensive way. It is being very interesting and current theme which is to a great extent not subject to direct legal regulations and provides its contracting parties with a big amount of freedom of contract. This fact assists in bigger flexibilization of labour market and represents a significant instrument in the fight against unemployment and economic crisis. This thesis is composed of six chapters. Chapter One introduces the term flexible forms of working hours and briefly describes the content of following chapters. Chapter Two delimits the area of labour law in relation to other branches of law and describes law principles relating to labour law.
